ING wil uw vermogen graag voor veel geld beheren
Is een meneer van de bank onmisbaar voor een iemand die wat vrij vermogen heeft en dat wil laten groeien? Bij ING vinden ze dat zeker, maar die banktypes hebben geen geheime kennis en ze moeten betaald worden. Ook als ze uw vermogen laten krimpen.
U kent het spotje. Een vrouw maant haar man tot haast. Ze hebben namelijk een afspraak op het ING-kantoor. Het is een grappig bedoeld spotje, met een vrouw die precies weet wat ze wil en een man die het eigenlijk allemaal niet zo belangrijk vindt. Je voelt wel meteen aan dat de vrouw het bij het rechte eind heeft.

Wat gaan die mensen bespreken bij ING. Willen ze een hypotheek of een persoonlijke lening? Nee deze mensen hebben vermogen en willen van ING weten hoe ze dat kunnen laten groeien. Vermogensopbouw heet dat. Geen idee hoeveel die mensen aan vrij vermogen hebben, maar bij ING leggen ze niet de rode loper uit voor mensen met 10.000 euro. Die categorie ontvangt misschien een foldertje over de voordelen van een spaardeposito of een wervende brief over een veel belovend nieuw ING-Biotechfonds. De echte doelgroep begint misschien bij 50.000 euro.
Dure Jongens

Met andere woorden, advies en beheer gaan ten koste van uw rendement. En vergeet niet dat die mensen ook betaald moeten worden als het rendement negatief is.

ING stopt om te beginnen alle klanten die kiezen voor vermogensopbouw zoveel mogelijk in de eigen beleggingsfondsen. Die gaan daardoor voor ING meer opbrengen. Dat is voor de bank alvast mooi meegnomen.
Mocht u zodanig veel geld hebben dat u ‘gediend’ bent bij een persoonlijke adviseur, dan wordt het nog interessanter voor de bank. Dan mag u eens in de zoveel tijd langskomen en met een heer van stand over uw portefeuille komen praten. Chique natuurlijk, maar erg duur.
Pensioenfondsen
Nu is een specialist in de arm nemen op zich niet slecht. Alleen moet zo iemand meer opleveren dan hij kost. Dat er beleggingsspecialisten zijn die daartoe instaat zijn, moet ten zeerste worden betwijfeld. Als ze er wel zouden zijn dan waren ze voor zichzelf begonnen en heel rijk geworden. Er bestaan geen adviseurs die op basis van hun kennis, het jaar op jaar beter doen dan de index waartegen ze het opnemen. De pensioenfondsen zouden heel veel geld over hebben voor dergelijke mensen.
Uitsparen
U kunt de kosten van zo’n adviseur eenvoudig uitsparen. Neem een beleggingshorizon van 10 tot 15 jaar. Stop de helft van uw vermogen in AAA-staatleningen, misschien 40 procent in een AEX-indexfonds en, als u dat leuk vindt, dan kunt met 10 procent wat speculatiever beleggen. Ook met dat laatste deel is het verstandig om niet te veel te muteren. Maar zolang er mensen blijven geloven dat er ergens adviseurs zijn met superieur kennis van de markt, blijven de banken goede zaken doen met hun vermogensbeheer.
